So I read on these forums that it is best to submit your application to as many recruiters as possible. What I didn't realize was they weren't talking about EPIK. So I have currently contacted three recruiters, two who for sure have submitted my application, and I landed an EPIK interview. What do I do from this point? Do I mention this problem during my EPIK interview? I feel so frustrated at my stupidity I'm about to cry. |

Since you have an interview, just keep quiet unless they bring it up. If they mention it just say it was a mistake and you hadn't meant for the other recruiter to send the application. |

There's a reasonable chance that you won't get selected anyway for any one of the ridiculous petty reasons that EPIK comes up with. Why not go further and start contacting non-EPIK recruiters that many schools use to hire people directly all year around. If EPIK is so petty that they don't understand that intellegent wise people in the west put out 100's of applications at a time when looking for jobs then there is nothing you can do about it.
If EPIK asks you why you submitted multiple applications through different recruiters tell them the same thing you are telling us. It sounds reasonable and is a good explanation. |

Have you tried contacting one of the recruiters and asking them to not submit the papers to EPIK. You might need to butter them up and say hey if the EPIK does not work I will work with you with finding a hagwon job.
Have you doubled checked also that it was submitted. Some recruiters may have said yes we will apply you to EPIK but then hold on to till a better time. Hope a error in translation happened and one of the recruiters said yes they applied you but he may have meant he will apply you.
As to telling in the Interview - one part says yes, another says no. Hmm unless they ask I would keep quite. |
