Hello All,
My friend asked about this recently since I have been in Korea for some time. I don't know of anyone who has one, so need your help.
Will it make someone a better teacher and/or get a higher offer?
I know there are lots of different kinds with different prices. Is there an ideal type to get? Is online just as good as offline?
Thank you for your time |

If they want to do the government program it will give them a pay boost. Actually it's good for public schools in general. |

Don't have one myself, but I say go for it if you have the time and money. Especially if teaching ESL is a long term plan for you. If you're going to be one (or even two) and done, you can probably skip it.
A lot of places will pay 100k per month more if you have one, so it should pay for itself in less than a year.
It's not necessary, strictly speaking, but it never hurts to better yourself professionally. |
