So, I am wanting to bring an Xbox 360 Slim over from the states. I'd like to use a North American box over here so that I can continue using it in the states down the down. My concern is the power brick.
Are Korean Xbox 360 Slim power bricks readily available in Korea?? Like, either in Yongsan or via Microsoft Korea? Does anyone have experience with this.
Anyone one have a clue where I could get the proper power brick and cord??
Thanks! |

Saw the Slim at homeplus the other day, cant comment about the power brick though.
Also, since those things are region locked you will have to get games shipped to you. |

Hey bazilman,
I brought over a 360S from the States as well. What you'll need to do is request a power brick from Xbox Korea and they'll send you a brand new Korean brick for about 45k won including shipping if I recall correctly.
Happy gaming! |

I can confirm what Bloopity Bloop had to say. I bought a US XBox and for some reason, the power brick refused to work with my transformer, so I contacted XBox Korea, got the new one and it's worked fine ever since.
Also, I highly recommend you check out play-asia.com. Even if you never buy a game, it's a helpful resource. Basically, Xbox games have region locking, but it's up to individual publishers whether or not they use it. And the site tells you on each game whether or not there is region lock. |
