There was yet another TV magazine investigative show on these humidifier liquids tonight (Korean 60 Minutes), because stores are still selling this crap, even though it has been proven to be a serious health risk and is not supposed to be sold anymore. People have died from it and had lung transplants. There have actually been demonstrations by families of victims who are angry it's still on shelves despite gov't rulings.

We're lucky that nobody in our family died, and that our young baby and my wife recovered. It made us all very sick, and my wife got so ill and coughed so hard that she cracked ribs.

PLEASE dump this junk down the drain if you have it and do not use it. Do not buy it!

I'm thinking of ditching any kind of air-cleaner/humidifier device.......I don't think the air in my apt really ever gets dry enough to warrant one......and they might even be helping the mold to grow.

My new mantra for this Winter is just vacuum and ventilate!

"PLEASE dump this junk down the drain if you have it and do not use it. Do not buy it! "

While I agree you shouldn't use it, just like a number
of other chemicals us people buy........

There should be alternatives to dumping it back into our
water supplies, no?

Good info, though.

If yoy are going to take the time to make a comment like that, please feel free to inform us of these alternatives and where we can find them in Korea. Otherwise you sound rather like an armchair environmentalist.
