So, I've found online that there IS a company that's a distributor for the dog food brand Orijen in Seoul, but, does anyone know where I can actually BUY it? I can't speak/read/write/ANYTHING in Korean, so trying to search online has been a nightmare and forays into local pet shops have proven unsuccessful. I live in Gyeonggi (Songtan, about 20 min. walk from Osan Airbase) but if you can give me directions via subway/bus/walking/taxi/camel/whatever to a place in Seoul where you've seen or bought Orijen, I will go to Seoul to get it. (Yeah, I really will, DYEL?!)

Extra info for other dog lovers, she's on a 50/50 Canidae Holistic for All Ages & Evo Small Bites split with mild fruit & veg supplementation, gotta get those healthy carbs... but, I really think Orijen is probably what's best for her as it's got everything she needs in ONE bag as opposed to two... Thoughts/opinions? I know the high-protein thing is controversial for large breed puppies, but I've spent weeks reading up on it, and I figure as long as she IS getting healthy carbs (hence the Canidae) the protein won't be hurting her. She's insanely active.

Anyway, if you can help us find some Orijen, we appreciate it! ^^ Also gonna throw it out there, Songtan-local dog friends, her shots will be completed in February and we would love to have some play dates with other dogs . We don't know anybody here yet D=

Hello there!

I think the following might be of help.

www.orijenkorea.co.kr (homepage in Korean)

In the grey menu bar, you will see "구매처" - places to purchase.
Click on that. Then in the vertical menu on the left, you can select
your area. Click on the fifth one down "경기도" (Gyeonggi).
After that, I'm not sure what would be the closest area to where you are.
Songtan is not listed, but "Osan" is. If you click on Osan (오산시), then
you will be given the names, addresses and phone numbers of places
where you can supposedly buy their products. There are four places
located in Gweoldong and two in Wondong. Check the site with a Korean and ask them to help you locate the one closest to where you are. Then have them call and make sure they actually do have what you are looking for.

Good luck.

Thanks! I really appreciate the help. I'd been at the website, but... I don't know any Korean, and I also don't have any Korean friends to help me out... So, I didn't get very far with it. I'll try calling a couple places that might be close and cross my fingers that someone somewhere speaks enough English to tell me if they have Orijen or not.

I had a terrible time finding it as well but was able to find it on Gmarket. You can sign up in English.

When I tried to re-order, they were out so I called another place (http://bunnyworld.co.kr) My Korean isn't good but they sold it to me on the phone and I transferred money to their bank account. I think this store is in Incheon. ph: 032-875-4471

If you have difficulty getting it, pm me and I'll help you.

I live in Daejeon and we buy Orijen at one of the big pet stores here. Its called "The Pet" . They have a few different kinds of Orijen flavors and sizes. Its around 18kwon for the small 1.2kg bags i think. They also have most of the Good foreign brand dog foods aswell I dont think you can order from them though. =(.

I dont think they have a website either. but you can maybe get a friend to call the number in the link below and ask them if they can send the food by mail to your place...

Orijen is REALLY high in protein. So When we buy it we usually use it as a Training treat or mix it with our dogs normal food. We feed our dog NAtural Balance Duck and Potato formula Large bites ( shes a medium sized dog). The duck and potato formula is grea and its all organic!
