Hey everyone, I'm thinking of selling my car. I just want a bit of a change and to free up some cash too as I've a Masters to pay for come March. The price is 4.5 million won - open to a little bit of negotiation depending. I'm interested in old volvos, mercs or a daewoo arcadia in the right spec for trades with cash.

It's a 2002 model 167k km with the updated front headlamps. The paint is extremely fresh which leads me to believe it's had paint at some stage - no stonechipping on the front end whatsoever, very few scratches/oxidation.

I detailed the car about a month ago with Meguiars and Finnish Kare products so the shine will easily last another 12 months before it needs a thorough polish again.

Since buying I've fitted numerous extras it was a basic GT spec car now it has:

    heated electronic folding mirrors
    heated seats with oem switches
    additional interior led lighting
upgraded front braking system with larger calipers and drilled discs/rotors
    Sony usb/cd/ipod compatible head-unit
    auto-lights - great for tunnels
    A-pillar tweeters
    momo - gearknob
Traction control switch modded to work as garage door opener - give me your fob and I'll wire it in

Apart from that the car has a strut brace up front, some very nice split rim wheels and is thoroughly reliable - any maintenance I've done has been preventative.

I've changed out the gearbox oil, coolant, the car was fully serviced 2000km ago, I do really low mileage in a year - circa 5000km. The engine is as strong as it gets and pulls well, tires are about 80%, clutch and gearbox are decent too. It's had it's annual check and a thorough inspection at hyundai mobis before I bought it.

The car has no money, tickets or tax owing on it and can be viewed in Suwon most weekends and most evenings after 5pm. I won't be driving it to Seoul or anywhere out of the way for a viewing and if you want a test drive my insurance covers Korean drivers licenses only. You wreck it you buy it. This shouldn't be a problem as exchanging your foreign license for a Korean one is simple enough. Alternatively I'll drive and try and scare you the best I can Very Happy

Insurance on them really depends on the driver and whether you've got any experience driving here - my insurance is about 500k with AIG after having a years driving previously.

Lastly I know you can probably find another tuscani on sk or some other site for cheaper, if it has the nice wheels, all the extras mine has and is as tight as this one is I'll quite frankly tell you to buy it but my limited experience with buying cars in korea is that most prices don't include sales taxes etc etc - add 10-15% to the advertised price and that's about the true cost:D

This car owes me a good bit of wedge and I'd rather keep on driving it than give it away for the sakes of it, So no silly offers please.

Any questions or if you want to see the car send me a pm here.

How much lower would you go? This 2006 with 116,000km is only going for 4million. But it's too far away for me to buy this week.

Not much - as in a tank of gas for good luck is the wiggle room on price and some products to keep it looking as it does now to get you started in detailing.

As stated finding a similar specced car for the same money is nigh on impossible. Just glancing at the other car - it's a more than fair price but - no leather, heated seats, autolights, folding mirrors - etc etc

All extras fitted by me totaling over 500k in parts not inclusive of labor.

I'm thoroughly having second thoughts on selling it to be quite honest - having looked at most of what's out there for similar money or more likely half of the sale price to pay for Uni expenses it's quite literally a market full of crap Smile
