Mods, can this thread be deleted/locked? Sorry for the inconvenience. I just decided that its probably not ideal for this information to be online. Didn't mean to clog up the board. Sorryyy
Have a great day!

I'm not expecting an answer. Just thoughts on the two options. |
Right. So flip a coin then. |

Did you even look at them on a map?
I could understand comparing Seoul, Osaka/Tokyo, and Beijing, but Ningbo isn't anywhere near the same as Seoul. Just the location is different.
You should really read up on basic info about both cities. First obvious question would be, do you want to live in a big city? Second thing is China is a huge country. In Korea, you can go anywhere basically (if you wanted), but that isn't going to happen easily in China (flights necessary and a lot of planning to avoid staying at a crappy place).
If you are a first time, complete newbie, without any idea of East Asia, then go to Seoul. If you have a specific interest in Ningbo (you wouldn't have asked this question if you did) and prefer warmer places, then go to Ningbo.
This is basically comparing a forest to a seaport. |

Korea Times: I originally had a long explanation of my situation. Basically, I have two offers. One from a school in Ningbo, one Seoul. I wanted to hear from people who have lived in both Korea and China.

Of course Ive done my research. Of course I know where they are on the map. Of course I know they are completely different places. I am not an idiot. I have travelled through and lived in various places in Asia. I know a straight comparison of the two cities is ludicrous.
I asked the mods to delete this thread, as I decided I dont want this kind of information on a public thread. Plus, Ive been contacted (PMed) by people who have advice for me, not just belittling comments (something Dave's has in Spades). I understand, it must look confusing to just see this random poll. Sorry for the confusion.
Again: please mods Delete this thread |
