Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any universities that offer a full time distance learning MA TESOL that can be completed in about 1 year?
Cheers,

I believe there are Aussie and/or NZ schools that will do this. USQ comes to mind. |

He wants quick MA from a school that sucks 'em in and spits 'em out in a year or less.
So I gave him something to check into.
If the OP is comfortable putting a school with that reputation on a resume, then more power to him. It certainly won't hurt me in interviews. |

Takes about 2 years mate.
Distance programs aren't usually FT.
Melbourne
Monash
Nottingham
Sunderland
Lancaster
Leicester
And so on.
Plenty of options. |

Thanks for the info guys. I guess a full time brick & mortar program would be a better option. I wanted to try and save money by doing a distance program but it doesn't seem like it can be done in 1 year at any reputable universities. Just gotta suck it up and pay up. |

I was going to start another thread about this, but we will see where this goes:
Can anyone recommend from personal experience a good distance learning MA program for either TESOL or Educational Leadership?
I am still torn between career options in both and I would like to compare universities that offer them.
Thanks in advance |

Sorry, mate. The OP asked for one-year programs. Are you saying the USQ program takes more than a year, full time? I imagine one could do it in 5 years if they string it out. But that wasn't the question asked by the OP. |

I know he did. And I don't think there are many, which is what I was pointing out. |

You could try MAT@USC (Masters of Arts in Teaching @ The University of Southern Cailfornia). They offer a full-time one year course that is offered online. Tuition is about 45,000 USD (Pretty expensive) but it is a reputable school. I'm actually looking into it. |
