Hey,
I haven't gone from Korea to Ireland but my gf and I are Irish so we flew the other way.
Here's the deal:
We flew from Dublin terminal 2 with Etihad. They were a great airline. Very comfortable. Dublin Abu Dhabi Seoul.
We have had different family members over on return flights three times so they have all done the return journey.
If you want to go to Dublin, Etihad seem to be the crowd to go with.
If you want to go to Cork, KLM are the way to go. They go via Amsterdam.
My mother got super lucky flying back home with Etihad. She signed up for the frequent flyers the day before and got upgraded to business class for Seoul to Abu Dhabi.
Both these airlines were good to my knowledge. Use expedia.com to check out other options.
Hope this helps! |

I have flown back and forward from Korea to Ireland many times.
The best price and route changes from time to time.
The shortest route (including transit time) is Incheon to Amsterdam to Dub / Cork or Incheon to Paris - Dublin
Most comfortable is any of the Gulf airlines
The Cheapest one varies. My flight home at xmas was cheapest through amsterdam from the australian expedia website (expedia prices are different from different country sites. wtf???)
Sometimes the cheapest route has been with Turkish Airlines through Istanbul or Lufthansa through Frankfurt. Different each time unfortunately. |
