Hey guys! I just finished getting my 'Open Water' scuba diving certification. Some people have been asking me where, and with whom I completed it with...so, I decided to post the info with a quick review.

Firstly, I have nothing but good things to say about Allen (the owner) and all his staff.
I chose to do the eLearning with PADI online, but he offers the open water study course as well. I did this because he is located in Osan on the Air Base and it was easier to just finish online and then do my confined water dive with him in the pool.
My first instructor was absolutely amazing and I felt really comfortable doing my confined water training in the pool. After that, I contacted Allen again and he organized a trip down south (hotel, bus, meals, all-inclusive) and we went to a calm harbor to complete the 4 open water dives. We departed from Osan; since he was so far from me and we were leaving early, he let me sleep in his apt so it wouldnt be a problem to get up before the sun came up. After we arrived, we unloaded, geared up, and the fun started.
I met some great people and had an awesome time. He is really patient and has a great sense of humor. If you want to get certified, or you are already PADI certified and want to go on some dive trips, contact him and see what's up. He's a great guy and he literally bent over backwards for all his students this past weekend.
He is ex-military and is currently an English teacher, but he seems to have plenty of time to respond to any question you throw at him. Do your self a favor and check him out. |
