Simply outrageous that this is allowed to happen.

This video has been going around. The driver was found and prosecuted......stupid idiot took the video himself and shared it around.

The first tow truck to the scene gets 300,000 from the insurance company. Insane system. I've been road-bullied by those guys a couple of times. Honking and blowing their siren (how are they allowed sirens??) to make me move aside even though there's nowhere for me to go.

I saw a tow truck (just like in that video) in Bucheon today racing up the wrong side of the street against the traffic. I was horrified at just how reckless this clown was driving. Over the last few years I have seen this kind of behavior happening a lot more often. It scares me to know that dangerous idiots like that are on the road.

That was an awesome video.
Competition(check him getting passed at 2:05)...danger...speed...wicked suspense...and ultimately...victory!

Yes yes...bad form and all that to encourage this kind of behaviour, but still...give credit where credit is due.

Whoosh...that driver has some skillz.

If I needed an ambulance where time was a life threatening factor...that is the kind of driver I would like....no lie.

Again, it's the lack of consistent enforcement of traffic laws that just keeps these clowns on the road.

Holy f*ck @2.54 the other tow truck driver tried to wipe that guy out.

Oh my god! I didn't even know they did this here! I saw a tow truck a few days ago that was also flashing and spewing its siren, and I wondered why they had that if they weren't emergency services... now I understand. The sirens are necessary to warn you to get out of the way, lest you become the scene of the accident yourself..

I'm sure you're joking but can you imagine a tow truck driver taking out a family to get to your broken leg a few seconds faster?

Clearly you've never played GTA.

I wonder if the guys at Rockstar have been inspired by this...

Not to mention the calm adjumma ballad on his radio gave the whole thing a very GTA quality.

Seriously there needs to be a happy medium between the two truck taking an hour to reach you and them getting there in 5 minutes and 3 dead bodies.

I mean, all jokes and fun, it's not really that funny.

As jonpurdy said, could you imagine you're 5, and you're talking to your friend about pokemon, and laughing and suddenly you see a tow crane smash right into your face?

I'm old enough to see insanely tragic accidents happen because someone wasn't responsible at all. This is no different than a guy walking down the street shooting a gun at random. The only difference is that people are keen enough to dodge the cars, but imagine it only takes 1 person to be groggy, tired, or intoxicated to create a huge accident.

Imagine if your kid, after hagwon driving in the same lane opposite to this guy. I hope he gets at least 5 years prison for reckless stupidity.

Strange how tow trucks command more power and authority on the road than police cruisers and ambulances.

I think that is great. That is one of the reasons I like living in Korea. You can do lots of stuff that would get you busted in stick-up-the-ass western countries.

You wanna run reds? Go for it!
You wanna open a bar in a tent? Go for it!
You wanna drink beer and smoke in a public park? Go for it!
You wanna speed? Go for it!
You wanna rake in 50 clams/hour teaching kids? Go for it!

Ain't no western SS stormtroopers here bucko.

While that stuff does have its charm...

You wanna beat your wife? Go for it!
You wanna start fights and claim to be the victim? Go for it!
You wanna collect bribes as a teacher? Go for it!
You wanna throw trash anywhere? Go for it!
You wanna not follow proper sanitary procedure? Go for it!

Korea has nothing on China in these departments.

Anyway, yeah, this driver has some skills! I think he'd be better on a race track than on a public street.
