I would like to talk to anyone who has worked at this university. I was offered a position. I would like to learn a little more in order to make an informed decision

You could probably ask some of these questions to the person in charge of the department that you'll be working in. Or ask for the email address of a current teacher there. |

.
-Is there a set amount of hours each week or specified time you must be in the office? Or, is it come and go?
- What are the housing conditions like in the dorm?
- Are most English professors adequately satisfied working there?
- What are the resources for photo copying, technology etc for class?
-Is there a comfortable relationship with the person in charge and a supportive staff for foreigners?
What are the general working conditions like and anything else you can add? I would also like to hear from others who were offered a position. |
I had a friend who worked there.
Apparently the dorm is a series of small rooms on the floor above admin. I heard one guy always wore a necktie while doing the laundry. |
