Hey guys,
my contract ends sometime at the end of feb and i want to get my visa changed from an E2 to a tourist visa. i dont want to leave the country. my school is willing to give me a release lease letter so that i can go ahead and speed up the process.
does anyone have any experience with this? if i have a release letter there should be no reason to go to japan, right?
thanks in advance

^If you plan on transferring your E-2 to another job just note that you can't do that if you get the tourist extension. I got the tourist extension from my last visa and ended up having to do a visa run for my new job because of it. |
