|
|
Went to MARRAKECH NIGHT Morrocan restaurant in Itaewon Seoul today (opposite the IP boutique hotel) to find that the place has gone! Again! This happened 2 years ago when it moved from the other end of itaewon.
Where has it moved to now? Or has it closed permenantly. |

It's on the first corner behind Cold Stone. Second floor. |

Thanks!
Why don't companies/restaurants update their websites. The restaurant in questions hasn't updated theirs. You'd think they'd be interested in attracting as much money as possible! |

I think it's anytime buffet, or weekend buffet. Definitely on Friday nights, for sure.
And yes, they really should make it clear they moved. A friend was all like "Hey this new restaurant in Itaewon is good" so I was worried it would be terrible. Then I saw the name and relaxed.

I saw it a few days ago. Didn't eat there though.
Does that place still serve Falafels? I'm looking for cheap Falafel pitas. Petras is too expensive. |

Up until March or so they had moved to a small little place just past Wolfhound's. You keep going down that street a little farther and there is a small intersection and they had a place there.
I was there twice in January and they mentioned that they'd be moving to another location sometime in March. Haven't been since, so I'm not sure what happened. |

Yeah, they were down past the Wolfhound pub until March, they then moved to a very big location above the cosmetic store on the corner of Itaewon station, exit 3. They have since closed (as of 2 weeks now I think), I assume bcos business wasn't covering the costs of the place (it was never busy).
I hope it goes back to the old location but I'm friends with the owners' daughter, so I'll catch her on FB and get back at y'all
Was my favourite food in the area too... now I'm in Chilli King far too much. |

UPDATE:
So I spoke with my friend on FB last night. They have closed down in Itaewon as of a few weeks ago and will re-open in August. They said it's about an hour from Itaewon... the spelling was off but I think they meant Gyeongbokgung, so yeah pretty damn far! |

Sorry to hear it's left Itaewon for good. But still happy it will relocate to another place in Seoul. Still worth an hour trip in my opinion.
(Pity they don't have their own website where they could keep their patrons informed....a bit of business accumen wouldn't go astray).
Thanks for the update! |

Gyeongbukgong Station is a nice area of town. It's also close to the royal palace and the United States of America embassy. Lots of people spend cash freely in that area of town. |

He's right, I was just in that area throwing my cash around like a crazy man yesterday. |
