Online the cheapest flights that I'm finding for late Jan (week after Lunar New Year) or early Feb is $300 return..

Obviously this is ridiculous since my return flight from Incheon - Manila was $100 more than that... anyone know what's going on? Any recommendations as to where I can get a cheaper flight??

All help is greatly apreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Peak season for Boracay and who are you looking at for an airline:

Try seair, cebu pacific, zest air, air phils.

If you don't mind a 2 hour van ride, fly into Kalibo instead of Caticlan.

Those flights tend to be rather expensive.

How bad is that bus ride?

Found return flights for $50 each to Kalibo compared to $300 each for Caticlan. Probably worth it.

The ride isn't bad, just 2 hours from Kalibo to Caticlan then the boat ride over to Boracay is another 15 minutes.

Then you catch a jeep to white beach and your resort (unless you are booked into someplace like Nigi-Nigi that has their own boat to pick you up on the beach at Caticlan and deliver you right to the beach at your hotel.

I take the Kalibo route when leaving Boracay but fly into Caticlan. Getting into Boracay isn't that expensive but getting out usually is.
