This going to get me banned but I have to do it.
LOOK THE *beep* DOWN! About ten posts down is a threads that might be helpful! Never mind the couple hundred previous threads floating around!
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=213288
Plus for which country!
In the end the best way if you are American is to go with one of the services. it will be the quickest. The cheapest dealing directly with the State Department(Federal) or with your local state government your school is in. Try google and your states names?
Once again if you are American? |

That thread is about FBI checks. You can't get a federal apostille for your diploma unless it's first been certified by your state's secretary of state. That's neither the fastest nor cheapest option. Better to get a state apostille. |

Ya I was thinking the same think with Degree checks - State not Federal (if the OP is American?). Still some of the services will do state checks for you.
Still the OP could have provided us with what country he is from and tried a little harder. Even by looking at the thread he could get a clue of two services to use. Using ESL search with Apostille and degree. I found three likely good threads to try and I am not yet at the bottom of the page.
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=214449&highlight=apostille+degree (ok not much to this one)
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=214367&highlight=apostille+degree (30 second scan I can some good info in this one)
http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=202047&highlight=apostille+degree ( 4 pages of some good details once again a 10 second scan)
Checking out one link in one thread came up with one service which will do state apostilles. All done in under five minutes. I can spend another ten minutes and I can have pretty good idea of what to do, and basic costs.
OR I can do like the OP
I can ask a question that has been asked and answered a many times. which if asked many many times people will be more likely NOT answer because it has been done to death. Plus ask people to tell me what to do aka do my work for me, which most people will not want to do so it likely does not get answered. Plus even ignoring those two problems and lets say somebody does answer him. He will have to wait a day or two for some likely in general answer that will not satisfy him.
If he is already in Korea and on an E-2 visa (looking at his previous posts F-4). His degree is already in the system and he likely does not need a new one. Check with immigration first whether your need to actually do it? Not so with CRC checks. Those your need to check done often.
To top it all off - I really do not need to know this info because my country does not need to do apostilles. But I do know it because I keep up to date and read the threads on Daves. Plus using my lowly technical institute skills I can solve a problem. The OP has a degree, so use those university skills of research and deduction to solve the problem.
So here OP I did some of the work for you. One place to check out http://www.apostillepros.com. With a 24 hour turnaround for California where you are from (using previous psots)? Sorry FedEx will be extra, only free shipping in the US. Thru you could have it sent to family who can then ship it to you. Cost is at 175.00 not counting shipping the papers there and back. With some quickness and luck could be done in under a week.
Or cheaper get it done directly by the state. 20 Bucks not counting notartization and courier costs.

God! It might be hopeless, after looking at this post from over a year ago.

Maybe in another year or two he might actually get it down. |
