So, for the first time in my five years in public school, one of my middle schools is having regular afternoon and after-school classes on the final day of final exams.

Why?!?

Anyone else's school do this?

The tests at my school finished at 12:30 today. The students will have classes in the afternoon. I have always taught classes until it was time for
vacation.

I'm used to classes the week after exams, but afternoon and after school classes on the same day as exams I have never experienced until now. In any case, I've been given free reign to let them do anything they want to do (except leave until 5:30.) We're watching the 1964 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. It's pretty dated.
