I have an entry level dslr (nikon d40) and I just dont want to drag it on long backpacking trips anymore. I bought it used for 450,000 won or so last year. Anyway, I want to get a Canon s95 for my next trip, so Im wondering if anyone has experience trading in cameras at a shop in Korea. Is it a rip off? Should I try to sell it myself?

I would sugget to sell it by yourself, sometimes you do not know what people wants when they visit here on ESL you might get your luck in selling your camera.

Just be honest with the condition and you'll get an immediate buyer with your camera.

good luck
