I'm in Canada now and I was wondering about this place.
Does anyone have any experience working there?
I know they don't provide housing.
Is it a good place to work? |

After the ad I saw recently, I don't know why anyone would want to work there. They had something like 3 days of vacation PER YEAR? Same place?
Of course, if you are a young and single guy, I'm sure there are other perks. |

I worked there and unless the conditions have changed dramatically their full time contracts complied with labour law. Meaning at least 12 days in your first year and it increases after that.
Their full time contract is great, and you would be lucky to work there but the part time contract is only okay if you have other business.
E2's need permission to work anywhere else and corporate work outside a registered hagwon is always illegal for an E2 unless you are qualified enough to add E3,E5, or E7 to your status.

Must have been a different place you saw the ad for.
If you want to teach adults in Korea, then you (probably) won't find a better place. |

Don't know anything about working there per-say, but do know that they have great locations. I'd heard 'on the street' that their full-time contracts were fine. So if you could get hired at the Shincheon branch? Bonus!
In general, I hate all things hakwon, but if the place is doing OK by its employees, provides a good avenue into Korea (Seoul, in this case), and lets one live in a rockin neighborhood, then more power to it! |

This is true. They have schools in France, Spain, Italy, Germany Argentina and Brazil to name a few. |
