Hey everyone.
I don't know Itaewon well, but now I'm working in the area.
What is the best place to buy jeans in Itaewon.

Fit is relaxed, not skinny or tight but not loose. G-Star Raw cut is called tapered I think.

I wear a US 36. Many Korea brands end at 34.

Any suggestions? Shop name and basic location?

Also is there Evisu shop at the end upstairs, authentic "Korean" Evisu? (I know the Korean vs Japanese argument).

Thanks

Itaewon isn't the best place to shop. You're better off heading up the road to Myeongdong (a short subway ride or a very short, cheap cab ride).

Anyone know where the best place to buy any regular jeans is, period?

I know there's the usual chain brands H&M, Uniqlo, etc., but are there any other shops where I can purchase relatively good quality jeans? Anywhere in the $50-100 price range is fine. I don't need those super expensive brand names jeans.

I don't know where Koreans buy their jeans.[/code]

for that price range, uniqlo is probably your best bet. the levis shops sometime have decent stuff around the 80-90K range, but most of their jeans are over 100K.

i know people may think it's stupid, but i'd rather pay 200 for a pair of really good quality jeans that i'll wear a few times a week that will last me a couple of years. i only own 3 pairs of jeans and the last time i bought a pair was about a year ago.

Namdaemun or Tondaemun market carries a lot of brand names at 50% of the cost of the department stores. I normally buy Levis 510s and the ones in Namsaemun are original factory over-runs. Some of these jeans I've had for 10 years. Old jeans never die, they just fade away Smile

In Iteawon next to the McDonald's is an underground market. The shop Two brothers will have what you are looking for. They carry many sizes up to 46.

I agree, If you're large, Itaewon is where your going to have to buy clothes. You can pick up fairly cheap decent parkas too and shirts (that people don't pick up) at some of the Tailors.
