I am trying to get my FBI CBC right now. I called into my local police department and asked if they still do the ink roll fingerprinting and they said yes, BUT I need to bring in my own fingerprint card. Well on the FBI website it says I need an FD-258 form for fingerprints.

My question is: Can I just print the FD-258 form on my printer and get my prints taken on just a standard sheet on printing paper. Or would I have to go to a different station that does offer the cards and purchase one from there?

Yup, I just printed out the form from their website (http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/background-checks/standard-fingerprint-form-fd-258). You'll need to trim the sides so the form will fit into their clamp while they're fingerprinting, but it totally acceptable to do this yourself.
