| So, I already know my holidays for next year and I get 9 days and want to fly to Thailand and then get the train to Laos and fly back to Korea from there. Just wondering has anyone done this before and would I need to book train ticket in advance or do I need to buy it in Thailand. Cheers for any info. |

| I'll be doing the same next month. From what I've heard you can just book your ticket at the train station or through a travel agent in Bangkok with ease (unless it's a national holiday where you might want to book in advance). Worst case, you can always catch a bus. Just a heads up, if you are trying to fly back from Laos to Korea, you most likely will have to fly via Bangkok as it's the airport hub in Southeast Asia for cheaper flights. |
