I don't know exactly how to explain this.. but everytime I log on to a website, I end up going to an old version of the page..
For example.. when I come on to Dave's recently, it shows the latest posts being May 26th! When I go to TSN it shows that Calgary has won game one..
I have to click on the link a bunch of times before I get the right page.. and that doesn't even work all the time...
Anyone have any idea what the problem is or any suggestions as to what I should do?
(hopefully i'll be able to see your responses)
Thanks in advance. |

Go to the internet options of your explorer (internet explorer assumed)
On the first tab you'll see an option for the cache ... try clearlying it first and then check the settings (below)
Then check the settings for the cache. Look at the option at how often it checks for a new page ... what it is set to ?
You should set it to either Check every time you visit the page
Or secondarily to Every time you start Internet Explorer
and third to Automatically ....
See how that does |

Good call snufalufagus...
Also, simply refreshing the page does it. The pages get cached on servers (MAPs or MAEs...?) to save on internet traffic. So, we get stuck reading the page that may well have been cached on our last visit.
Never happens here!! Guess there are a lot of requests sent out from Korea for Dave's page! |
