Has G-Market always had the same terrible exchange rate when it converts Korean Won to US Dollars?

I was currently planning to order something on the website using my foreign credit card (which I think you must do only from English menu) but I noticed that when I switched to English, the price increased.

The website currently says that 1,000₩=$1.02 US Dollars.

When did the Won become stronger than the dollar again?
