Have you looked into USB condenser microphones?
If it's only the one mic you need and you're recording to a hard drive and not tape, it's the way to go to maintain quality and save yourself some money.
Edit: Just be careful buying online here. I ordered a USB AT2020, it took forever because it was an import. After charging me for the USB version, they sent me the regular, non-USB AT2020 which was useless to me since I did not have phantom power, and it took twice as long to get my money back. Though that was some time ago when USB condensers were just entering the market. |

Do you mean "phantom power supply" or "preamp"? |

If you don't necessarily need a condenser mic, I have a shure SM-57 that I'll sell. It looks a bit beat but it works perfectly. The dome's a bit dented and there's a serial number scratched near the base. I bought it used from a music store in Canada that rented out mics.
I'm in Seoul, go to school in sinchon but live near hoegi station. Hows 90k won? |
