SMOE Question:

Am I now required to show a plane ticket to my home country in order to collect this? My coteacher is telling me that this is now the case...I don't have my contract in front of me to check. My contract was signed in February 2011 if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Why don't you give SMOE a call and ask?

You get your exit allowance regardless of showing your plane ticket.

You will need to show your plane ticket when you collect your severance.

Nope.

You need the plane ticket to apply for your pension refund from the NPS.

You get the severance (from the employer) regardless of whether you leave or not.
