Hey all,
So how would one go about ensuring that when arriving to the Eden Valley Resort for skiing/snowboarding, one isn't turned away?
Basically, I'm thinkin about a weekend trip on New Years weekend to Yangsan for snowboarding for the GF as a Xmas gift, except I've never ski/snowboarded/etc before. So I'm pretty much clueless on the whole process. I'm a fish out of the warm waters, flopping on icy land.
Would I need to reserve equipment and ski slope usage?
Must accommodations be reserved through the Eden Valley Resort?
If not, should I reserve a local hotel? Are love motels available w/o reservation?
Thank again for steering this noob in the right direction! |

You'll have no problems. Resorts here do offer lessons to anyone and will take anyone's money.
No snow the area yet. It's all man-made at that particular resort at the moment.
Where you located?
Look up Muju Resort and Gangwon-do for skiing.
Certainly quite a bit of snow in Gangwon at the moment. Not sure about the weather in the former.
Be advised that resorts will be packed for the holidays and hotels might be a bit difficult to find at resorts around the peninsula. |

Well, I called EunSuneythg and they quotedd roughly 90 per person for rental and snowboards and lifts for Muju, but they were mum on accommodations.
Can anyone recommend housing? Will love motels be available? |
