We'd be leaving from Seoul Friday night or early Saturday morning and looking for a destination with warm weather we can spend a few days in, probably 3 nights or so that's not crazy expensive to get to. Phillipines seems to be a decent option but flights are still pricey to get there.

Any suggestions?

Guam

Saipan

Jeju-do (I've heard it has a year round sub-tropical climate.)

Taiwan is fairly warm this time of year, and you should be able to get fairly cheap flights to either Taipei or Kaohsiung.

whatever you decide; book your tickets ASAP. Prices increase exponentially for the lunar new year on all transportation in Asia.

The travel forum... there is a TON of information on all the popular (and a few of the less traveled places) that you are likely to get to from Korea:
The Philippines (about 20 of the more popular islands).
Thailand (including BKK, Chiang Mai, Phuket and the Gulf Islands.
Vietnam.
Cambodia
Laos
Taiwan
Lots of places in China (the south can be nice but HK can also be pretty chilly (lows of 5-10c) in the winter).

Just scroll back a few pages. There is almost as much information in there as you will find in any Lonely Planet.

You'll be lucky to get anything under 600,000 won at this time.
