hi~
can anyone tell me about incheon yeonsu, i can't find a lot of info about this place. what's it like to live there? is it a small part of town? is it easy to get to seoul from yeonsu?

I think it is easy to get there. I was chatting to a girl in Incheon airport last summer who was shocked I lived in Yeonsu (I actually said Yeosu which is on the south coast) and had never visited Seoul  |

fairly big residential part of Incheon
on the incheon subway line which connects to the main Seoul line. plus lots of buses. Near Song Do

It is excellent. It's definitely got a more residential feel than a lot of other places you'll find. It's also a lot nicer than the older parts of Incheon (a lot of the coastal part of the city north of Yeonsu is absolute garbage)
There's Lotte Mart, E-mart, a convenience store every 20 meters, movie theaters, restaurants everywhere. Essentially all of your daily needs are covered. Shinsaegae and Lotte Department Store are ~10 minutes by subway.
There are buses (9200, M6405, 9201, 1300, 1301(this bus might be no more) that go to Seoul. On average you're looking at a little over an hour to an hour and a half bus ride to Seoul. There are also several subway stations for the Incheon metro (most of which are in Songdo). |
