I wanted to give a quick way for any foriegner to find their local labor board office. Sometimes, it may not always be easily found on their website. This is the physical location of a labor office.

Go to Naver and type in 노동청 (Labor board)

If you live in Suwon, type in 수원 노동청 (Suwon Labor board)

http://map.naver.com/?query=%EC%88%98%EC%9B%90%EB%85%B8%EB%8F%99%EC%B2%AD&siteOrder=

If you live in Busan, type
부산 노동청

http://map.naver.com/?query=%EC%88%98%EC%9B%90%EB%85%B8%EB%8F%99%EC%B2%AD&siteOrder=

Click on the site nearest you and call the local number. Get a Korean to call for you that you trust. You can also use the national website in English. But this is how new foriegners can use the Naver search engine to find one nearest to you. You may have to go to your provincial capital if you are in a small town. But you should learn to read Hanguel and use it too.

The minute your hakwon boss screws you, delays your pay, does anything not legal (no pension), get to the labor board.

Maybe someone can make this a sticky.

The Korean word(s) for National Pension Office are: 국민연금공단

So, go to Naver, type in those words with the city before it.

For example in Daejeon, type 대전 국민연금공단

(There are two offices)

Anyone know the wesbites for these? (Labor board and Pension Office). But if you need to find them, use the naver search function. If you have the address in Hanguel, you can type it into naver and a map will come up with it's physical location.
