My Apple ID was disabled earlier, and two password resets haven't changed anything.

I'm wondering if my region settings have anything to do with the matter. It is set to the UK and the 'disabled' message only appeared as soon as I tried to download the BBC Iplayer, which might be locked to the UK.

Anyone have any experience with this?

As it is I'm unable to download apps/updates. Rolling Eyes

I use my NZ Apple ID here and it works fine - as long as it is linked to a credit card from back home with an NZ postal address.

Maybe there is an issue surrounding the credit card you're using?

What exactly does it say? Does it say disabled for security reasons? It has nothing to do with your country I have an American and Canadan iTunes accounts and have downloaded apps specific to those stores on my iPhone.

No, it said nothing about security issues. After finding the proverbial needle in a haystack, an e-mail address, I contacted someone who did something and then it was up and running again.
