Anyone know a place where I can find a standing desk in Seoul?
I hate sitting when I'm on the computer and it's so much better for me to stand.
Thanks |

Yes, sitting is lethal. Especially over the long haul.
However, I don't think standing is much better - the key is movement. We are made to move, keep moving. Plus, you'll burn some fat.
I made a treadmill desk recently. Easy as pie to do and doesn't cost much at all. Only will cost if you want to put $$ into a quality treadmill (which i did - but you just use the base and store all the other rails/parts)
So you got your track and you just need a desk over it. Easiest thing I did was spent $99 on a TV stand with 3 PVC type legs. They are quite common and have a metal frame above the top to hang your TV / Monitor. Simply buy 3 PVC pipes (like a plumber would use) of one size smaller than on the table. Insert as legs and extend the TV stand into a high table. Place over the deck. Hang your monitor where the flat screen TV would go. Go for it. Walk at about 2k/hour and you can do everything without a bother.
Here's a quick blog post I did about this.

Good luck,

Hahah, Dd. Nice. I took a flat board to the gym at my workplace and used to set it over the top of the treadmill, and a laptop on that. They have nice pro-style treadmills there, and some of the older models allowed me to do that. Unfortunately, they got rid of the old ones, so no more laptop at the gym. |
