Please state your choice and why. For the why part I would press you (just a little and with a cheeky smile and wink, more of a nudge really) to describe what you like about it and the effect you percieve it to create when you see it / use it. Imagine describing a character in a creative writing class or a poem about the face of a lover etc, etc....

Ramen was the ruler of the Razz. It kind of denotes a cheekiness but is more friendly, less dismissive than the Laughing to me. More like a naughty younger brother who'll you'll let off as he means no harm. The Laughing suggests facetiousness.

I like the Cool as it profers a sense of 'we're all cool / friends here' as well as adds authority to the poster's opinion. Though you could go with the Wink however that might suggest smugness.

Most devastating has to be the Rolling Eyes Even if the poster makes a shoddy hole-ridden riposte to one of my posts, there it is all smug and showy at the end almost as if it matters more than the content of their post!

Very Happy

Nice... I usually see these things as fairly stupid. However, I prefer the two unmentioned devil emoticons. Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad

Or the angry slope: Mad

Twisted Evil - I like using it but not on this board. The sentiment it expresses (enjoying doing something evil) is not something I can relate to here.

Surprised - Really I prefer D; but again don't use it here, really. The smiley on this board looks too happy.

Confused - Old standby.

Shocked - Old standby.

Mad - Hahah angry slope. Classic.

Wink - Always figured it to mean you're just ribbing someone.

Laughing - This is by far the ugliest animated smiley emoticon I have seen anywhere on the Internet. Seriously, looks like Pac-Man is trying to wiggle his upper lip.

I wanted to link to some of my favorites but that auto-correct of the name of a certain Web site extends to url links as well. Rolling Eyes
