I just got an unlocked iphone 3gs and am pretty confused about whether I'll be able to use it in Korea. I went to KT's foreigner blog: http://expatblog.kt.com/ and looked at the i-plans. It looks like I can register it with KT and join a plan, but I actually have no idea if this is the case. I haven't been able to find anything conclusive online.
I'm hoping that somebody who is already in Korea will have some concrete information? Thanks! |

If you take it to an olleh store they will have no problem activating it for you. With an unlocked iPhone you just choose the plan you want
I did the same with my iPhone 4S. |

you can get a simple plan which includes calls and data ... or you can get the two (calls/data) separately. make sure you ask about costs and benefits, as well as penalties if you go over your data cap.
if you're a serious phone user you'll probably need to spend about 50-75k a month to get phone and unlimited data. |
