It's complicated, but here goes...
At SK Telecom the phone costs 999,000 won. That's how much you would pay if you bought the phone straight up with no contract, no discounts, etc.
If you sign up for a 2 year contract you will get a 90,000 won discount on the phone. That brings the cost down to 909,000. You will also get an additional discount on this price depending on which plan you choose.
909,000 divided by 24 months is 37,913. That's the base cost of the phone per month.
Now take a look at this site
http://www.tsmartshop.co.kr/handler/ChildProduct-Start?PageNo=1&ProductId=SSQM&ProductType=01&ChildId=104128&hpyDCCD=02&ProductGb=01&SelectGbn=type1&VendorId=000002014&sSortGbn=w1&sEntryGbn=&sCompanyCode=&sEntryCd=&sFuncCode=&sFuncGubun=&sPhoneOs=01&sPhoneTypeCode=&sDisplayArea5=&sDeviceType=&strMenuDepth01=02&strMenuDepth02=02&strMenuDepth03=03&strMenuDepth04=02&ListImg=%2FSS%2FSSQM%2Fdefault%2FSSQM_List.jpg&productId%5B0%5D=SSQM&productId%5B1%5D=SSQM&productId%5B2%5D=SSQM&productId%5B3%5D=SSQM&productId%5B4%5D=SSQM&productId%5B5%5D=SSQM&productId%5B6%5D=SSQM&productId%5B7%5D=SSQM&productId%5B8%5D=SSQM&productId%5B9%5D=SSQM
Specifically look at the table titled "LTE 플러스 할인 이란?"
The first line of the table is the name of the plan, the second line is the monthly cost of the plan, the third line is the number of included calling minutes per month, the fourth is the amount of data per month, and the last one is the discount you receive per month by selecting that plan.
For example, if you choose the "LTE 42" plan you would get 180 minutes of talk time and 700 mb of data per month. You would pay 42,000 (cost of the plan) plus 37,913 (cost of phone) minus 11,550 (discount) for a total of 68,363 per month.
As you can see, the more expensive plan you choose the bigger discount you get.
This is a rough estimate of the actual cost. It doesn't include registration fees or sim fees which you won't have to pay if you are already an SK customer but will if you are a new customer. It also doesn't include any extra services, options, insurance, discounts, etc that you may or may not choose. |

I have the Galaxy Note with the LTE 62 plan. I pay 62,000 plus 19,000 a month for the phone. Plus the SIM and registration fees that were mentioned above. I don't have the bill in front of me, but the registration fee (I think) is around 30,000 divided over a few months, plus around 10,000 for the USIM card.
So far, I love the note. Yes it seems big at first, but I've already gotten used to it. It fits into my jeans pockets just fine. The screen is very clear, and the phone is very responsive. The battery life is better than the Galaxy S, but not a huge improvement. I haven't used the S Pen all that much, but my students love it. Using it one-handed is a little tricky though, and I have medium to large-sized hands. I also like the split-screen it gives you with messaging and emails. The front video camera is HD, and it works well with Skype calls. The connection is iffy at times, which should be solved when LTE is released(I live outside Seoul). |

Unfortunately there's no unlimited data option for LTE like there is for 3G. Based on how you described your use you're probably not using very much. Probably not more than 500 mb, and almost certainly not more than 1 gb. It's almost impossible to use more than that if you aren't downloading movies, music, streaming, or other large files. If you want a more exact answer install an app on your galaxy S that tracks your 3G data use. After that you'll have a clear picture of how much you're using per day, per month, etc. |

I made a reservation. They had a 4-5 day reservation period last month. That was the only way to get it early. Now you have to wait until the stores get them. Some of the stores have posters up now, so maybe you can get them soon. |

| It exists. My coworker just walked in with one yesterday. Not sure about the pricing, but it seems to be the same system as any other Galaxy device: heavily subsidized by the type of contract you sign. |

On the LTE chart here:

There doesnt seem to be an "unlimited data" option for unlimited internet
I currently have unlimited internet with my Galaxy S
How many GB roughly would one need to keep their internet on all month?
I hae no idea how many MB or GB I would use over a month. I dont download music or movies or anything like that. Just surfing, downloading pictures, files and other smaller media
Basically the reason why I like unlimited plans is I like keeping my internet connected 24/7 for messaging services like Skype, Kakao etc.
Also, I know Id end up forgetting to turn off 3G once in a while if I had a limited plan and am scared to see my next bill if I go extremely over the limit |
