Hi Everyone,

Quick question about the Criminal Background Checks from the FBI.

I have five stamped and signed finger print sets from the local Korean police station. I printed the forms out myself on regular A4 paper and plan to send ALL five to the FBI just in case a finger on each form is smudged or something like that. I have weird luck when it comes to bureaucratic paperwork...

I have to send them to the FBI from Korea, so I assume that a "Tracking Number" is the way to go.

Does anybody know the cheapest way that I can mail this out, but still have a tracking number that I can check online? I know there is FEDEX, but I thought maybe someone would know of a South Korean postal service that could mail it and still provide a tracking number.

Any advice would be great. Thank you very much!

radiantchild,

Just the other day I went down to the post office here in Pyeongtaek, I think it was Korea Post? or something of the sort, definitely a Korean company. I mailed a small package to the states for like 3,000 won, very cheap. They asked me if I wanted track (I didn't) so I know it's possible.

I realize this isn't very helpful as I can't remember the name, but I am almost positive it is just the generic Korean post, they are probably everywhere, just ask someone in your town where the nearest one is.

Hope that at least helped a little, and best of luck.

Go to the Post Office and send the things via EMS. Be sure to put your cell phone number on the form. That way you will get text messages telling you when the envelope leaves Korea, arrives in the US, and finally is accepted at the FBI.
