| Actually it seems they need a license plate. do they actually need a motorcycle license or are 50cc still exempt from that? |

| I don't have a problem getting a plate for my bike. I'm more interested in how much the insurance will cost. |

License plate for <50cc is becoming mandatory this year.
Going rate for mandatory insurance premium is said to be no less than 160k Won per annum, according to some Korean scooter riders, although variant options included in one's policy as well as commercial/non-commercial use will largely affect the net premium you need to pay. |
