It should work fine as a 2G phone. However, carriers in Korea provide 3G service on the 2100 MHz band. |

It is for my wife. Her current phone has a SIM card and is used as a prepay card phone. Would it be possible to just switch the SIM card from her current phone to this one and not miss a beat? Thanks. |

|
|
I need a new phone and was thinking of purchasing the A101 Android 2.3 OS 3G GPs WIFI WCDMA/2100mhz.
I read on the KT Global Store expat site that Korea only supports 3G WCDMA 2100mhz. and that it must be unlocked.
Does anyone know if this is the correct information?
Any help would be appreciated. I am correct that it is better to get a phone before I leave for 1-2 years and then activate it there?
thanks!!! |
