hi

i am looking for some software tools to make presentation videos. My objective is to synchronize
the powerpoint/pdf presentation by annotating and voice-based explanation at the same time. I
want to prepare such lectures and upload the content.

i have seen many lectures when teachers speak, annotate and teach at the same time. i want to
know about tools which i can use to build such 10-15 minute lecture videos.

i can use Windows and MAC OS.

please advise me.

thanks

You want to upload the content for future use after the class, or you want to upload the content to be used during the class?

The reason why I ask is that you have 2 different approaches. One is like a studio project, where you piece together stuff and press play for your students. The other is like shooting scenes in a movie, where you record several classes of the same lesson, take the recordings home, and then edit them.

What is the overall goal? Who will want to access the content after it is uploaded? If you are making it available for students who didn't make it to class (that type of thing), you are better off recording students' questions, responses, etc... and then overdubbing your own voice at home. If you are looking to give a presentation and simply sit back, I would choose something else than .ppt to present material. In this case, is the material meant to be interactive (most of my classes are, so that's why I asked)? If so, you might want to add some flash elements to it instead. PPT's don't do a good job at that.
