The flooring in my apartment is faux wood panels (lino).

I dropped a plate on it and put a hole in one of the panels.

Per chance, anyone know if a single panel can be replaced, without ripping up the whole (or a sizable section of the) floor?

Those floors suck, don't they? We have them. They dent if you drop your keys on the floor.

I believe parts of them can be. I know when I lived in one place, the guy came in with a small jackhammer and changed out a few. You need to contact a flooring shop. Get a few different estimates. Please let us know what you find out. I'm also very curious.

These are panels? If so you can probably take the damaged one out and replace it.

If you have the "roll out" faux wood, I was told it's not a big deal to damage it. It's relatively cheap to replace and is generally changed between tenants. It's something to make sure your landlord doesn't gouge you on.
