My Galaxy S1 does have the micro HD. But it is a POS.

I imagine the S2 does.

Oh I mean the SIM card size not micro sd card. The Note has a micro SIM so much smaller than the regular sized SIM I wanna test my phone with another carriers SIM and see if my Note is locked or unlocked

btw...what specifically is POS on the galaxy 1? Its a good phone. I had one previously

Samsung Kies, for one. Terrible touch screen sensitivity, compared to Apple is yet another.

It's one thing to advertise a phone with certain features, and yet another to create software for it that actually allows it to update/work correctly. This the last Samsung phone I will ever purchase. I only bought it over Apple to use Adobe Flash, and that continually breaks with the newest updates. I can reset the phone, have Flash for a short time, and then forced updates "break" it again. This phone sucks.

My wife has the I-phone 4, and there is really no comparison.

yeah Kies sucks but why do you need any programs with an android phone??
I never used it and installed stuff just fine with the usb cable
Its plug and play. Unlike itunes. There really is no comparison unless you like restrictions and limitations that Apple loves to control users with

Drag and drop kills itunes.
I suppose one needs itunes considering Apple is too cheap to put a memory card slot in their phones

If you feel the need to always manually manage your files then yes, drag and drop kills it.

For most people, automatic syncing with everything is the whole point of having a simple phone. I don't want to have to drag and drop. Everything just syncs automatically (now over wireless with iOS 5) whenever I charge my phone.

My Galaxy-S syncs fine without Kies. I only use it to upgrade firmware and since Ive taken to remove the SD card before that, I haven't had any trouble (just went to Gingerbread without a hitch).

I drag music files on it and I drag pictures off. There's software that uses Dropbox to do even this without connecting to a PC. Most apps I use sync via their own servers or Google. I do have the impression that the touch screen has become less reliable, irrespective of the humidity levels (troubles during the dry Korean Winter as well as the humid weather in Bangkok last week).

The reason I'm not happy is that a friend just bought 2 Nexus Prime with ICS and that just made me jealous (8 months left on my contract with SK).

I agree that compared the the iPhone/iPad touch-and-feel impression, the Samsung range of products still seems somewhat "off". As a former iPhone user on the other hand that's a price I'm willing to pay for FFiT (Freedom from iTunes), while I love the store I'm basically a DOS person at heart and I want more control and involvement over my file copy operations.

KIES is a POS but so is iTunes (for media management), sorry.
