So, last year in February, a lot of people got hit with a HUGE surprise tax because their schools (mostly SMOE affiliated schools) didn't get the memo that as of 2010 housing subsidies were taxed. I personally would have gotten hit for 1.4 mill if I hadn't been in graduate school (classes are deductibles).
So, are there any income tax surprises this year? I've heard whispering about health insurance something or other but I can't find those threads. |
