Hi, this could all be my own paranoia here but I'm starting to suffer from serious cabin fever.

So I've applied, had an interview and apparently passed it. That was the last concrete thing I've heard. I sent off my documents in the post and was told by my agency that I'd hear back with a final position.

But I sent off my stuff weeks ago, I've heard nothing since! I'm supposed to be going on Feb 18th but I still don't know when or where...

Someone tell me this is normal and I'm panicking for no reason please?

Also, if anyone has had a good experience with I Love ESL Ltd as an agency and can testify to that, that'd help too!

You should try contacting EPIK directly. I know that recruiters hate it when you do that, but the EPIK coordinators have no problem with it.

Try [email protected] or [email protected]

Many people make the mistake of waiting and waiting. Yes, many people are contacted last minute, but I know several people who lost positions because their documents were never actually sent to the EPIK offices!

Edit: Changed "sometimes" to "many." Laughing

Thanks, it is frustrating with my recruiter telling me not to email EPIK... I'm sure they have reasons but it just makes me even more nervous. I was actually thinking of looking up the email address myself, it'd be nice to have some official confirmation that I'm in the system.

Ta for your help guys.

Careful, some of you newbies should look into Hogwans or even other countries. EPIK is silently making some cuts here too. The ones for SMOE and GEPIK are more pronounced. But there will be more cuts coming over the next year here too.

Yeah, it's because they get paid to recruit and by you asking EPIK directly, they're afraid they might seem like they're not doing their job right. Recruiters will come up with any excuse to stop you from contacting EPIK.
