My internet was out for about a week and now that it is finally fixed it seems way slower. Not only is it slower, it seems that I can't have more than 2 devices on my wifi network at once. And, as soon as I try to stream or download anything... everything else on the network refuses to load/refresh.

Above is my current speedtest. I pay 32,800 a month. SK Broadband.

My pingtest was really jittery until I updated my routers firmware. Now I have solid ping but still, the speed and multi-tasking is definitely not what it used to be.

Sad

What you gotta do is get a korean friend or GF (preferable) to b**ch and moan til sun comes up. It'll get them to change to par or better. My wife did that. They upgraded my connection to digital. So much faster now.

Yah, and they should do the speedtest before they leave. My guy did one on the ollehKT site, and afterwards I even went to speedtest.net and did one while he watched, just to double check.

They do a local speedtest. The international connections are what really stink.

Does your key board have an any key key? If it does, push it. If not, try turning your computer off and back on again. Very Happy

Speedtest has a local Seoul server, which he used.
For awhile it didn't, but they got one again.

My internet really tanked at my old place. A couple years ago it was great, 80-90/10 up
but then about 8-12 months ago, it just went in the toilet. had the tech out, he said it was a problem in the area, other people were also complaining. It was down around your speed or much lower, hitting 10/2 sometimes. Moved to a new apartment a month ago, running 97/73 the first time I checked it, it's a little slow today

The ping is a dead give-away. 64ms ping is pretty high for in Korea.
