I talked with a recruiter months ago who told me I needed my crc before I could get job offers or interviews. After that I stopped looking and sent in my CRC and am still awaiting fulfillment. Now I'm trying to look at jobs on the internet, I've talked with one recruiter for 10 minutes on the phone last month and didn't hear anything back.
I've applied with ECC and am waiting to hear back from them. But how do you find a recruiter? I mean in the past I've contacted one post and had a lot of luck! (I've taught in Korea twice before) Right now, it seems so difficult to get a recruiter to talk with you and try to find a good position!
What am I doing wrong? |

How do I find a recruiter?
http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/
And one thing a lot of people do (which you may not, I don't know) is write recruiters describing their ideal jobs (near hongdae, daytime schedule, at least 2.4, etc.). This is not really the way to do it. The thing to do is to apply to specific jobs that a recruiter has listed in their ads. Recruiters don't have other secret and better jobs that they for some reason choose not to advertise. They each have their few connections with specific hagwons. Beyond that, they won't be able to find anything else for you. Pick something that looks good, email the recruiter about that specific job, repeat over and over and over. Simple! |
