Hakwon still owes me money, so I'm going to stay and go after the rest of my money.
Anyway, any ideas for a good place to stay for about a month?
I'm thinking about taking a break for about a month then looking for a new job after that that is, unless I magically get paid before then. I'm in a hostel now in Seoul. Are there any better ideas? |

A goshitel would be a good option, priced around ₩350,000 per month. Similar to student dorms.
House share or homestay is also an idea. Depends where you want to stay? |

Right now I'm at a hostel in Seoul and will ask about a monthly rate.
I'm just looking for a decent place to stay in Seoul for a month and wanted to see if there were any recommendations.
Is there a goshitel you would recommend in particular? |

Slightly off-topic... I assume you have taken care of your visa issues (switched to a D10) so you can easily transfer to a new E2 with a minimum of fuss and paperwork when you are ready? (It is also good for a stay of up to 6 months).

Yes I have, I was able to get to the immigration office before the weekend to switch over to that D10. Now I'm just waiting for another ARC. |

seconded. I did it once for a month but most of the time I was on holiday in SE Asia. I mainly used it to store stuff. In hindsight, I should have tried to load it with a friend. But it was ok. |

My friend owns a really awesome hostel in Hongdae. It's currently empty right now (not a peak season) so you could see about renting the bedroom. I'm not sure how much it is, probably around 500-600k for the month. It's a really nice place (dozens of times better than a goshiwon) which is why it costs a bit. PM me for info if you'd like. |
