sup trv. i'm looking to do a major SE Asia trip this spring/summer. i'm flying back to the US in March due to obligations i can't get out of. after that, i want to spend 4-5 months traveling in Asia. does anyone know of a website that finds the cheapest flights for the super-flexible? i want to fly out of the U.S. in early April, but i don't particularly care what date. I also don't really care where I fly from. I'll be based in Kansas City during my month back in the States, but it's easy enough to get a cheap Southwest flight to LAX, SFO, NYC, Chicago, wherever, so my flight doesn't have to originate in KC. Also, I don't really care which SEA hub i start the trip from. I assume flights to BKK will be cheaper than, say SIN or KL or JKT, but again, it doesn't really matter. Finally, my return flight is extremely open ended date-wise at this point.
tl;dr - is there a website where my point of origin can be "US Mainland" and my destination can be "Asia" and my travel date can be "April"?
i'm not too optimistic here, but if such a thing exists it would be pretty awesome. |

Kayak.com has always been good to me, not the most accurate but it does give you a lot of leads to cheap flights. You don't buy the tickets there, it links you to the sites where you can though (travelocity, expedia, airline websites), so what it's good for is condensing your search to one website instead of looking up the fares on several. |

Look at http://www.kayak.com/explore . You can pick your base airport and then it will show places all around the world and their prices for a typical season/month/specific dates. |
