Could anyone help me with the following issue? I have worked for a company for 2 years, my contract was up jan 1st, but the contract was not signed because we were too busy, something that has happened every year without problem. Then on jan 27 they called me in and said they were not renewing my contract. They have given me 1 months notice, however, am i entitled to my holidays? If i was in contract they would have to pay me for these 2 weeks, however they are saying i was not in contract, and so they dont. Is there a rule, like say the one for housing contracts, that if you work for somewhere more than 2 years then you are automatically in contract?

Apologies if i do not make any sense.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The only "rule" that would apply would be the labor standards act (article 60).
