In January of 2012 I submitted my documents for a new visa. I worked at the hagwon for 5 months and then transferred my visa to another hagwon. I am 3.5 months from the end of my present contract and wondering if I can extend my present visa and transfer it again or do I have to return home and get the same set of stamps and checks... again?

Do you mean you sent them in 2011? If so, a normal transfer without documents should be ok. |

I sent them at the end of 2010 and began my visa in January of 2011... doh, did I say 2012? This recent gig is a blur, 6 months of 6 day weeks plus 2 months of intensives sans public holidays.... blur. The end is in sight though. |

From what I understand, if immigration has the latest documents you don't need to get new ones. So far, it sounds like you are in the clear for an easy transfer. Pick a school, go to immigration, and see. |
