This is doing my head in.
Bought a brand new copy of Fifa 12 at Yongsan yesterday. Opened a PSN account on the PS3 I bought yesterday, and then went to put in my Online Pass code for Fifa. Keep getting the message, "The Code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid".
I've done some googling, and it looks like this has to do with the region of the game and my account or something? I don't understand.
Can anyone help me? |

It's not just you, and it's a big pain in the ass.
Your PSN account is not Korean, but the game is, so you get that error.
From what I understand, you have three options (there may be more):
1) Make a Korean PSN account. This is the preferable option, since any game with an online pass code will probably do this. However, you need a Korean to do it. You need a Korean ID and all that. The good part about this is that once you activate the code, you can play online with your regular ID.
2) Get EA on the phone and get them to fix the problem for you. I've never tried this because I've heard it is a huge hassle. You will also have to do this every time it happens.
3) Buy the online pass. I think I did this for one game in the past, but IIRC Fifa may not even allow you to get to that point. |
